Lumdtr: The general topic of this conference series is energy transfer, migration and optical de-excitation in wide-gap solids, and in particular the theory, modeling, development and characterization of properties of materials used in active optical systems, such as scintillators, luminophors, other opto-electronic detectors of ionizing radiation, lasers, and various optoelectronic devices. In 2012 it was held in Halle (Germany)
SORMA: It is a yearly symposium on radiation measurements an Applications. The next one will be held in Ann Arbor (9-12 June 2014)

Crystal Clear Collaboration:The Crystal Clear Collaboration, also known as "Crystal Clear" or "CCC" was created in 1990 and approved by the CERN Detector Research and Development Committee as RD18 in April 1991, with the objective of developing new inorganic scintillators suitable for crystal electromagnetic calorimeters of LHC experiments. The scope is now broader than calorimetry.
FP7-EndoTOFPET-US:The project addresses and combines several objectives of the topics Health 2010.1.2-1, such as novel multimodality imaging tools, including a single-photon (quantum) counting PET detector head for the purpose of detecting and quantifying morphologic and functional markers and of developing new biomarkers of tumoural processes at the preclinical and clinical levels.
FP7-PICOSEC (Pico-second Silicon photomultiplier-Electronics- & Crystal research) is an European Marie Curie training project. It aims to bring together early career researchers and experienced colleagues from across Europe, to take part in a structured, integrated and multidisciplinary training program for young researchers in an R&D project geared to develop a new class of ultra-fast photon detectors in PET and HEP.
FP7-Luminet is an European Marie Curie training project which aims at educating a number of well-educated and talented young researchers with a broad, interdisciplinary knowledge in chemistry, physics, materials science and engineering but also in soft-skills like problem-solving and project management in order to meet the challenges of the future.
